Job description

Join our growing team as an Java Backend Developer and help us enhance our platform by developing scalable, high-quality backend services. You will:

• Analyze and challenge product specifications to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Develop and evolve robust APIs and scalable backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address defects and implement solutions.
• Maintain high standards of software engineering best practices.
• Stay informed on industry trends and integrate cutting-edge innovations into the platform.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the teams agile processes and delivery practices.

We are looking for a dynamic and talented developer with the following qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.
• 3+ years of experience with Java backend development (Java, Spring Boot, and SQL).
• Proficiency in databases, CI/CD processes, and containerization tools.
• Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, RabbitMQ (or other messaging brokers).
• Familiarity with tools like Linux, Git, Maven, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and decentralized environment.
• Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for solving challenges.
• Mastering generative AI such as ChatGPT for improving day-to-day productivity.

Bonus skills:

• Experience with front-end development (Angular, React, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with security frameworks like OAuth2, JWT, and API gateways.
