The Vodafone Italy Business Intelligence and Big Data team is the owner of the Vodafone Italy data stack which includes Business Intelligence and Analytics Systems. It provides data and services to different stakeholders from predefined reports for business users, to self-service reporting for advanced BI users, analytics platform for data scientists as well as a data monetization platform open to external customers. The platform we manage answers to multiple business needs leveraging on standard BI and ETL tools as well as on modern real time data streaming tools.
As an Analytics API & Orchestration Specialist, you will be responsible to design and develop extension and enhancements of our analytics portal. Specifically, you will work on the orchestration framework that manages analytical model and data movement, as well as the backend framework that allows customer to access our analytics web portal. You will work tightly with data engineer to prepare the orchestration of analytical models, front end developer to design the APIs and with business owner to think the E2E functionalities.
You will provide value to the business creating a stable, secure, and flexible modules supporting different needs. Guaranteeing short time to market and a reliable partner for product owner are key part of the role.
You will excel in this role if you have a broad knowledge of integration/backend technologies, mainly Java, Springboot and SQL. A passion for data and an E2E view of the environment you work on will enrich your profile and help collaborate with the stakeholders. Knowledge of front-end technologies (javascript) will be it’s a valuable plus.
