MISSION

The Senior Software Engineer develops critical software solutions for a real-time trading platform, leveraging Java/Spring Boot/Linux technologies and contributing to the platforms continuous evolution. This role is part of a team committed to technical excellence, with responsibilities that include evaluating and designing scalable, sustainable architectures, leading the implementation of new features, and supporting the team in adopting best practices.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead new developments in close collaboration with BAs, users and QA team: understanding of requirements, architecture/design of the solution and lead/coach team members participating. Ensure quality, maintainability and performance of the solution
• Improve/Evolve/Refactor existing solutions: Identify improvements in the current solution, look for opportunities to improve quality, maintainability and performance.
• Identify technological advances applicable to the solution or the company activities. For example: automated testing, AI tooling, etc.
• Mentor younger/less experienced members of the team

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in Java/SpringBoot development, REACT and REACT Native experience will be a plus.
• Cloud/distributed application development experience: Kubernetes/Docker experience.

• Proven ability to design and build scalable, high-performance software solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, users)
• Experience in mentoring and technically guiding other developers.
• Proactive, open to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Fluent in English.
