About The Role
Your contributions will shape the next generation of AI-powered test automation solutions for
global enterprises. We are seeking a passionate AI/ML Engineer with expertise in Generative
AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI
solutions within Eggplant's test automation platform. This role will be part of Eggplant
Generative AI Agile team, collaborating closely with Product, Frontend, Backend and QA teams to integrate cutting-edge AI features aligned with our product roadmap.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, fine-tune and deploy LLM and Generative AI systems that cater to business needs, including automatic generation of text, Gherkin scenarios and test cases
- Evaluate the pros and cons of different NLP approaches and Generative AI platforms with comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Continuously monitor model performance and retrain models as necessary to improve the accuracy and robustness
- Research and stay updated on the latest advancements in Generative AI and ML technologies
- Develop AI/ML solution design documents based on the problem definition outlined in the Jira tickets
- Create clear and concise documentation for models, experiments and processes to ensure knowledge sharing
- Mentor peers and junior team members in building their AI/ML expertise

Required Requirements
- Bachelor/ Master/ PhD in Data Science/Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years in AI/ML engineering or equivalent experience with strong exposure to
Generative AI and NLP.
- Hands-on experience with LLM/GenAI including RAG, Vector DB, Embedding, Fine
Tuning and Prompt Tuning.
- Proficiency in Python programming, deep learning framework (eg TensorFlow,
PyTorch) and NLP libraries (eg Hugging Face, spaCy)
- Familiarity with MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps tools (e.g., GitLab), and
cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
- Experience with test automation tools is an added benefit.
