WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

SANTANDER CONSUMER FINANCE GLOBAL SERVICES (SCFGS) is looking for Java Microservices Engineers to support a new initiative – Santander Auto Software programme.

As a Java Microservices Engineer you will be responsible of develop ing , test ing, and deploy ing the technical and functional specifications, guaranteeing the correct operability and the compliance with the internal quality levels . Join an international team of talented and passionate engineers developing a cloud platform .

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

• Design and develop backend applications based on Microservices architecture.

• Build clean APIs and extend their auto scaling platform services.

• Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process .

• Participating in code review and contribute to improve common practices.

• Collaborat ing with a team of talented developers to develop innovative solutions , proposing ideas for continuous improvement.

EXPERIENCE

• +4 years professional experience in Java backend development , solid knowledge in Java 8 or higher .

• E xperience with microservice s Spring Boot , design, development, and deployment , and application scalability and performance.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field . Or equivalent work experience.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Fluent in English.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD toolset .

• Experience with cloud platforms .
• Knowledge of agile methodology, Scrum / Kanban.
• Team player .
• F ocus on quality .
• Knowledge about the Clean Architecture principles .

OTHERS

• Those vacancies will be based on Madrid, London or Monchengladbach. In the short term there will be new locations in other European countries.

• This role is remote working first.
