Job Summary

Altair is the leader in technology simulation application to synthesize and optimize designs, processes, and decisions for improved business performance. We are looking for a python developer to work with our team located in Barcelona. The goal will be to create, maintain and develop a user interface for an engineering simulation desktop software (windows/linux)

What you will need:

The person who joins must meet the following requirements:

• Experience in python, and unit testing.
• Good communication skills (in English).
• Product Engineering mindset.
• Experience using version control systems.
• Knowledge in agile methodology.
• Autodidact and self-taught.
• Fast learner.
• You embrace solving difficult problems.

Bonus points:

• Knowledge in computer science.
• Experience in computational geometry.
• Experience using FEA software.
• Experience in user interface design.
• Experience in C++
